1)WHY DO YOU LIKE SKATEBOARDING?
originally i skated as transport but over the years it has become more than that. Skateboarding is like a freedom of expression, without boundary, if you can dream it you can do it, its something where direct creation can result in direct results, and this constant progression is what makes skateboard fun.

2)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SKATEBOARDING AD WHY DID YOU START?
ive been skateboarding for 10 years, after playing tony hawk's pro skater 1 i thought i could do that so i tried it, i started by going down the hill next to my house. sitting down, with all the other kids from the area, i soon realised a skateboard is more stable standing up. soon i was addicted, riding everywhere, bombing hills and attempting tricks. i then heard about the skatepark in Porth, and decided to go. i then realised that skating parks was much more fun than skating in my street. id spend my Saturdays from then on at Porth skatepark until it closed in 2003-4

3)WHAT MADE YOU START GOING TO DIFFERENT SKATEPARKS IN WALES.
Well back in those days you didn't know about skateparks, unless some one physically showed you, there was no Internet or skatepark maps.i remember looking in old sidewalk magazines at epic skateparks that i would have no chance to visit. Then about 2 years ago,i heard there was a new skatepark some where. so i went looking for it with my mam in the car .we got lost for 6 hours driving around looking for skateparks, and it was then i asked my self was there anything that would help me find these parks, so i went on the Internet and searched it, we found it on the map and decided to take a look at it, there were no photo of the park. just a map. so we followed the map to this crappy looking park, a total wasted day. i from that day onwards i decided to physically map and review the skateparks in the area my self. so other people wouldnt make this mistake and welshcakes was born.

4)WHERE DID CHIMPO MCDDODLE COME FROM?
lol... i was always called lil Chimpo growing up, as my brother was called chimpo after taking a giant toy monkey to school, he was supposed to give it to Charity but cried so much when they took it off him, hence Chimpo. i was called that till i was about 11. as i grew up. i took the name, everyone else decided that. Mcdoodle came later. i was working as a street performer in Holland a few years ago, and i was always asked my sir name, so i created something based on my mate Scottish sir name , McDonald. and Chimpo Mcdoodle was born,

5)HOW MANY BONES HAVE YOU BROKE ?
ive never broke a bone touch wood, i have ripped my knee open after falling in an unfinished and smashed my face after bumping into some one at a skate comp. but i don't get hurt that often.

6)WHAT IS YOUR SETUP?
Im a strong advocate for cheap equipment, i ride a blank 8inch deck, some tensor trucks and some original old school wheels handed to me. by and animal chin b4 he went to the moon.. my total deck cost me less than 40 quid bargain, and its all available to you at your local skateshop.

7.BEST TRICK?
well i have a big fan of handplants and their variation, its not something you see often, Christ airs and sacktaps also. and ive recently landed my 1st front flip. id rather go big than techy.

8)WHATS NEXT CHIMP?
Well.. hopefully we shall keep going welshcakes is close to its 50th episode. there are plenty of skateparks in England and Scotland to do ,we also have a new series coming out once wales is completed, and hopefully we are looking to open a shop. and then maybe our own park. and do some more videos featuring guest appearances. you have to have ambition. and not be afraid to fail.
